When Showing Up Looks Different

This week has been a gentle reminder that showing up doesn’t always look the same.

Some weeks I feel clear, motivated and energised. Other weeks feel heavier, slower, quieter.

And lately, I’ve been learning that neither is wrong.

Burnout doesn’t always arrive loudly. Sometimes it slips in quietly, asking us to pause rather than push.

So instead of trying to override it, I’ve been choosing to listen.

To simplify my days. To lower expectations. To honour what my body and heart are asking for.

I’m still here. I’m still committed. I’m just moving differently right now.

There’s a lot of pressure online to always be “on”. To be consistent in a way that ignores our humanity.

But real consistency isn’t about showing up perfectly, it’s about staying connected to yourself, even when your energy changes.

This season is teaching me that building something meaningful doesn’t require constant momentum. It requires steadiness.Compassion.And trust.

If you’re feeling flat, foggy or tired right now, please hear this:

You’re not failing. You’re not falling behind. You’re simply human.

And sometimes the bravest thing you can do is keep showing up, gently.

With care,

Kerry 🌿
